What ages of children do you accept?
We currently offer programs for toddlers (18 months–2.5 years) and preschoolers (2.5–4 years).
What are your hours of operation?
We’re open Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 5:30 pm.
Are you licensed?
Yes, Learning Together Childcare is licensed under the Ontario Child Care and Early Years Act.

Enrollment and registration
How do I register my child?
Families can join our waitlist and contact us for space availability. We recommend booking a tour before registering.
Is there a waitlist?
Yes, spaces are limited. We encourage families to join early to secure a spot.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, a non-refundable deposit is required to confirm enrollment.
Programs and curriculum
What curriculum do you follow?
We use an emergent, play-based curriculum aligned with Ontario’s “How Does Learning Happen?” framework.
How do you prepare children for kindergarten?
Our preschool program develops early literacy, problem-solving, and social-emotional skills to ease the transition.
What is your staff-to-child ratio?
1:5 in the toddler program, and 1:8 in the preschool program.
Nutrition & meals
Are meals included?
Yes, nutritious meals and snacks are provided daily.
Do you accommodate allergies?
Absolutely. We work closely with families to accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions.
Do you follow Canada’s Food Guide?
Yes, our menu is balanced, age-appropriate, and dietitian-approved.
Health and Safety
What happens if my child is sick?
Children must stay home if they show signs of illness and may return once symptoms resolve.
What safety measures are in place?
We maintain secure entry/exit points, outdoor play supervision, and trained staff for emergencies.
Are staff trained in first aid?
Yes, all educators are certified in Standard First Aid & CPR-C.
Communication and families
How do you keep parents updated?
Yes, visits can be arranged. We value strong family partnerships.
Can parents visit during the day?
We welcome children from 6 months to 6 years old, with dedicated programs tailored to each developmental stage.
